神様、この世を創造される。

「創世記は、『Genesis』で『起源』という意味です。創世記は現在私たちの周りに存在する全ての始まりと起源について、私たちに教えてくれるのです。」
1. 「天と地」(the heavens and the earth)は、「全宇宙と地球」を指します。天と地はいつ、どのようにして存在するようになったのでしょう(1)。初めに天と地を創造された神様はどんな方でしょうか(出エジプト記3:14，ヨハネの黙示録1:8)。
| 1:1 初めに、神が天と地を創造した。出エジプト記3:14 神はモーセに仰せられた。「わたしは、『わたしはある。』という者である。」また仰せられた。「あなたはイスラエル人にこう告げなければならない。『わたしはあるという方が、私をあなたがたのところに遣わされた。』と。」黙示録1:8 神である主、常にいまし、昔いまし、後に来られる方、万物の支配者がこう言われる。「わたしはアルファであり、オメガである。」 |
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.Exo3:14 God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: `I AM has sent me to you.'" Rev1:8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty." |
2. 初めに創造された地の状態はどうでしたか(2a)。その時、神の霊(the Spirit of God)は何をしていましたか(2b)。
| 1:2 地は形がなく、何もなかった。やみが大いなる水の上にあり、神の霊は水の上を動いていた。 |
2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

3. ３節から天と地の創造が始まります。神様が最初に創造されたものは何ですか(3)。「光」をお造りになった神様のご品性についてお考え下さい(ヨハネの手紙第一1:5)。第六日までの創造を日付けごとにご説明ください。その中に現れる創造主である神様についてお考え下さい。

3 And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. 1 John1:5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. |
4. １章で「神は、…仰せられた。」(God said)という言葉が十回出ています。神様が仰せられた時、どんなことが起こったのでしょうか。神様の御言葉にはどんな力がありますか。
| 1:3 そのとき、神が「光よ。あれ。」と仰せられた。すると光ができた。
1:6 ついで神は「大空よ。水の間にあれ。水と水との間に区別があるように。」と仰せられた。1:7 こうして神は、大空を造り、大空の下にある水と、大空の上にある水とを区別された。するとそのようになった。
1:9 神は「天の下の水は一所に集まれ。かわいた所が現われよ。」と仰せられた。するとそのようになった。
1:11 神が、「地は植物、種を生じる草、種類にしたがって、その中に種のある実を結ぶ果樹を地の上に芽生えさせよ。」と仰せられると、そのようになった。
1:14 ついで神は、「光る物は天の大空にあって、昼と夜とを区別せよ。しるしのため、季節のため、日のため、年のために、役立て。1:15 天の大空で光る物となり、地上を照らせ。」と仰せられた。するとそのようになった。
1:20 ついで神は、「水は生き物の群れが、群がるようになれ。また鳥は地の上、天の大空を飛べ。」と仰せられた。
1:22 神はまた、それらを祝福して仰せられた。「生めよ。ふえよ。海の水に満ちよ。また鳥は、地にふえよ。」
1:24 ついで神は、「地は、その種類にしたがって、生き物、家畜や、はうもの、その種類にしたがって野の獣を生ぜよ。」と仰せられた。するとそのようになった。

3 And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.
6 And God said, "Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water."
7 So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. And it was so.
9 And God said, "Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear." And it was so.
11 Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds." And it was so.
14 And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years,
20 And God said, "Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky."
22 God blessed them and said, "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth."
24 And God said, "Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind." And it was so.

5. 神様がお造りになったものをご覧になった感想はどうでしたか (4,10,12,18,21,25)。それぞれの被造物の存在意味と目的がどのようなものであることが分かりますか。
| 1:4 神はその光をよしと見られた。そして神はこの光とやみとを区別された。
1:10 神は、かわいた所を地と名づけ、水の集まった所を海と名づけられた。神は見て、それをよしとされた。
1:12 それで、地は植物、おのおのその種類にしたがって種を生じる草、おのおのその種類にしたがって、その中に種のある実を結ぶ木を生じた。神は見て、それをよしとされた。
1:18 また昼と夜とをつかさどり、光とやみとを区別するようにされた。神は見て、それをよしとされた。
1:21 それで神は、海の巨獣と、その種類にしたがって、水に群がりうごめくすべての生き物と、その種類にしたがって、翼のあるすべての鳥を創造された。神は見て、それをよしとされた。
1:25 神は、その種類にしたがって野の獣、その種類にしたがって家畜、その種類にしたがって地のすべてのはうものを造られた。神は見て、それをよしとされた。

4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.
10 God called the dry ground "land," and the gathered waters he called "seas." And God saw that it was good.
12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good.
21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
